With a high elevation in my driveway, i always slow till almost stationary before attempting to drive it down, but the inevitable always happens, slight scratch sound.

Anyone has installed anything to prevent direct scratches to the front bar's base so far and has been effective?

i have used a piece of aluminium and rolled it to shape of kit on bottom.
1 problem i found- if i did hit something it would stay out of shape as aluminium would bend and hold it and it wouldn't bounce back so to speak.
it would almost crack the kit every time i did it.
factory bumpers were fine when i use it on them.

Depends on the driveway... if angle is too acute, car would look weird with 4WD height.

I reckon work on the drive way rather than the car. Use of sandbags can be a good temporary fix.

Or maybe a couple of planks of wood that is cut to suit.

you will have to move house.

raising the car or selling the car are just not realistic options!!!
