Hey I'm replacing a front left quarter panel next week on my v8 limited. Is there any difficulties in it or is it just bolt on bolt off? I know when I blew my tyre (which caused the panel to bend out of place and a bit of damage to it and scratches from tyre wire) that it messed my car alarm up so I thought there may be wires or sensors in the panel or something like that? I really have no clue, if someone could clear this up for me then that would be great :-)

Just a simple bolt on affair. There are 4(?) bolts along the bonnet line, one behind the head light, 3 (?)near the hinge, and two underneath behind the wheel opening. There are a bunch of clips and screws attaching the plastic liner inside the wheel well also.

Headlight has two blots that are tricky to get at inside the wheel arch right up the front under the plastic liner.

If you wanted to bring it over I'd give you a hand if you like.

if you take the faded panel to someone who resprays try and get a cash no invoice deal to respray panel and then do the swap. could save you money that way.
