I've searched and searched but have not been able to find a tutorial on how to remove the side mirrors on a '91 TT.

Can anyone enlighten me, please?

Thanks Walter.

I'm thinking of covering the mirrors with carbon fibre film as they are scratched up. But that sound like more work than it's worth lol

Why remove it at all? You can cover in-situ with 3M vinyls....

two plugs that hold it onto the two threads that are poking up from the floor. pull the plugs from the footrest. place footrest so you can see the threads and push plugs into footrest and onto threads.

I've been trying to "Pull the plugs" from the bloody footrest, and getting nowhere. Though, on a side note, my swear jar is filling up nicely.

Why did they have to make things so bloody difficult
