My drivers door will not unlock with the key. If the door is open the key and door lock switch both unlock the door, if the door is locked form the inside with either the switch or manual lock with the door closed the key will unlock the door. If you lock the door with manual lock and hold up the handle and close the door or use the key when the door is closed neither the key or the door lock switch will unlock the door.
I have gone through all fuses and all are fine.
I have gone through the site looking for answers but have had no luck.Any help with this would be appreciated.
Also I do not know if it is related, but when I turn the ignition off I can not open or close the windows, but when I open the door I can?

By ' unlock/lock with the key' I'm assuming you mean the remote on the key, not physically unlocking with the key.
Possibly a broken wire or 2 in the door loom, or faulty door latch switch. Both common problems with soarers.

No I mean physically unlocking the door with the key, I do not have remote.

You've probably got a broken wire in the door loom, a common problem as the wiring in these cars is getting old. they generally break in the rubber tubing between the door and the body, i've found the easiest way to check this is to either remove the door trim and lift the carpet back, check the wiring with a multimeter or just remove the door loom rubber and check the wiring visually.
