| I have the normal looking 93 style rear lights. What can i do to them to make them look different, but legal? Obviously it has to look good and not like and i dont have the + $400 to get the 98 model lights which we all love! Thanks Ben

also, do you recon i need mesh or anything else in the top air dam? I recon it looks fine without anything, and again, i cant afford the 96+ grill insert. Cheers Ben

Not keen on mesh. I'd rather get the grille (yes I know). With the rear lights, have you ever thought of spraying the top section in transparent red? I saw this on a few cars in the US, looks quite nice when done properly.

Yep. Can't beat the evil look of the '94-onwards style lights at night time as it flies by the competition

The ONLY evil look MY car gets, is from the flies in the garage when I hang a rotten Sheep carcass up in the shed,............coz it restricts their flying room!. Baaaaaaaa!Baaaaaaaaa!

i would put about 4 to 6 vertical chrome spikes in the grille space at the front so it looks like teeth / fangs!

For the grill, I'd purchase the '97 style one and then get those chrome grill stickers off ebay. Nathan, I saw a dark green Soarer with smoked tail lights today. Didn't look too nice in my opinion. I'd imagine the lights would be pretty dim at night time if they were smoked.

i'll try the gold mesh on the weekend. Might also try painted fly screen, lol. I was thinking about the lights and im thinking of getting a template style sticker made up that goes over the whole light assembly and getting small Lexus badges cut out so you can see the brake light background. Ive seen it once on a starlet, and it was done well, and looked a trick! Or i might get some of the little black pin strip stickers you get from supercheap and space them very tightly. to give a horizontal line effect. thanks for your comments Ben

The taillights on ebay are up to $107.50- still very good value, IMO they are nicer than the 97 lights although we'd never change the existing ones Anyway the '95 ones look far better than the earlier ones- they aren't a straight fit though, apparently.
