i want to get custom vinyl on the side of the car. Does anyone know someone in sydney that does a good job at good prices. The sides of my door have knife marks, and it's just cheaper to get vinyl to cover it up the to do a paint job

it's more like paint striping not actually stabbing, but never the less, when i worked at Blacktown Mcdonalds i delt with people who were drunk or high, so i made a lot of enemys. All good now moved to another store so it's all good

My point is that stickers are crass and tacky. A Toyota Soarer is an elegant vehicle and can be positively compared to much more expensive cars WITHOUT having to resort to stickers or other automotive strap-ons.

I'll second that. The only sticker on my car is the rego sticker and its only on there 'cos a cop made me at the last RBT that I got flagged into. Normally lived in the glove box. "Automotive Strap-Ons" I like that, it might just replace "D!@K Pull". But anyway Jack it is your vehicle so do whatever makes YOU happy. It's just that IMHO money is better spent on performance and making your car tidy because stickers and bits hanging off your car never gives you or your vehicle credit. I believe it all falls in the same category as Spinner Hub Caps and Stick-on Bonnet Scoops, would you stick these things on your car Jack???

That's not bad at all, (although I still wouldn't have it on my car). I'm more talking about over the top 2 Fast 2 Furious stuff, like having a transformer shooting a laser gun down the side of your car, or a shopping list down the front guard.

to tell you the truth guys, i only though of vinyl sticker a as a cheaper alternative to getting the car resprayed, i would rather have a vinyl look then a knife marking on my car, then when i can afford a respray the i would rip the vinyl of the car. I already have gt vinyl strips on my soarer and they don't look to bad.
ps nathan i'm about to get a quick shift kit, my turbos rebuild into steel wheels with high flow, new ECU and VTX bodykit, so it's not all just for me , It's both.

I have seen a van in Perth that claims on the side to be completely covered in vinyl not painted. It looked like a good paint job and I was surprised when I read on it that it was not paint as it was seemless all over. The van was being used as a billboard for the product/procedure and was quite well done. Touchups and fading would be issues probably
