Guys, I am sure I will be corrected quick smart if I'm wrong, but certain parts are available painted, some are only primed. I believe Bars only come primed from the factory. Mine came from Toyota primed, and I was not informed of any option to have one pre-painted.
For the late model trims and some skirt bits I WAS asked for my colour code tho, so they obviously come the body colour. I will post prices of all that crap when I get it too.
But guys, Avin is absolutely correct, it's the light's and grille that make the conversion expensive. See the link to my price list, that's all the bit's you must have, what it will cost you and where to get it.

hey gregg does your fibre glass dude make front bumpers.

can he make a mold of the stock 97 bar.

can anyone make a mold of the 97 bar, am sure there are plenty of people that will buy

Nah he doesn't do large kit molds himself. These are "generally" more cost effective to be made in china and then imported in bulk to numerous shops. There wouldn't be the demand for the 97 bumper for those guys to even consider it.

Secondly, in my opinion it's a false economy. We all know that it's so difficult to get "copy" kits to fit with most needing modification work to fit properly. By the time you do that the extra costs don't make the initial saving worth it...

Buy the front bar from Toyota and you know it will fit up perfectly and with no fuss or extra cost. They are not THAT expensive ($588)...

It's the extras such as the 97 fog lights and grill which I think are very expensive but not much you can do about those...

You can always get the grille and foglights second hand. Or maybe a group buy from Toyota might be able to get us some savings? I don't know, but they aren't THAT hard to come by.

Just to make all you guys out there that want 97 factory front bars, you just got to be in the right place at the right time. My bar came with cornering lights, grille, glass high beams, bonnet seal, poystyrene backing pad, and all the clips and screws for the princley sum of 465 dollars. Did a swap with a dude down on the gold coast for my old wheels and he painted and fitted it.

But aftermarket front bumpers are mostly made from fibreglass. And that stuff sucks for long term ownership. Give it a year or two and you'll start seeing stress marks everywhere in most aftermarket front bars.
