Okay, when I bought the car this damage was already there, but it's starting to play on my mind a bit now. The rest of the car is awesome, just let down by the front bumper a bit.
In this picture, you can see the damage. What you don't see it (obviously) how much lower this side of the car is from the other. Not a huge difference, but enough.
Now the bumper has a number of cracks in it due to this damage and depending on light (especially from a camera) there is a little bit of a dent right where the gryphon badge would normally go (I want to put a Lexus one there, but won't go into that )
Now is it worthwhile repairing this bumper and if so guestimates on price? Can these be done at home? How would you do it? If the price is not worth it, then I may as well just buy a 97 front bar and be done with it.

Yeah true Peter , but I am still at odds ends regarding which bumper looks better for my own taste. They both look good depending on what direction the car will be going (which I haven't firmly settled on yet). To make matters worse, there is one concept where the 97 bar would look awesome, and another concept where my current bar looks better.

I contacted Toyota here in Perth and they quoted me, wait for it.......
$3000 for a barebones bumper. That does not include anything else. Just the bare bumper by itself, no lights, no undertray, no indicators, nothing!!!. That's only primed too, not even painted.

Will,
These prices are fairly current, so I can't see that the friggin front Baaaa has jumped up that much!
97 Bar - $588.20 2x Fog Lights - $571.00 97 Grille - $233.80 Now keep in mind your foam bumper insert won't fit the new one...I think it is $80.00 And your Foggy's will need wiring like spotlights.

Don where are you getting these prices from? From previous threads, I think you mentioned that it was from a couple of Toyota places over east. Although I could be wrong.

Called Castle Hill and their price is now $670. Called Penrith and their price is $752.
Why the discrepancy?
I called another mob in Perth called "Automotive Group International" on (08) 9272 5055 and they don't have it, but they do have the earlier model ones for $385.
