As title suggests, im after the black colour code so i can do a few touch ups from some annoying stone chips. Do Toyota / Lexus have those 30ml paint touch up kits or what should i do ?

Adam, The Black on Soarers is code: 202
Don't know the answer to the 2nd question, but I've always bought a pre mixed spray can from one of the automotive paint supply shops. Then, if you've only got a small chip to touch up, just spray a bit of paint into the lid of the spray can, and use a small brush for the chip. This will leave you with the spray can for the bigger jobs.

pardon my ignorance, but i would have thought black would be one of those colours that didn't need a colour code for touch ups... isn't black black? or does it have some pearl or a tint in it?
it does seem to be a nice deep black mind you. deeper than most other blacks you see on a lot of cars.
Adam, if you really wanted you can get a touch up tin made up of your colour by most panel beaters, just give them your fuel lid so they've got something to go by.

To revive an old topic;
Phil, is that "Ebony Black" paint code the same paint as used on the Soarer? With the reason for the difference in codes (202 / DSC09) being due to different manufacturers/brand names?

Yeah, what John said. I got my touch up paint for my blue V8 from them. Paid for it and received it within the week. Good service in my opinion. Cost like, $25 delivered to your door. There's plenty of touch up paint for your car as long as you use it properly.

I think from my reading of the post that the DSC09 part code is for the spray can, not the Soarer paint code.
As a matter of interest the Wizard's colour is actually called Ebony Black, so knowing I can touch up with real Ebony Black is really wonderful (sarcasm intended).
