nah if you look closely one has a more jaged lip sticking out plus it has a finny bit which comes out to the fog light. you can see it in the first pik (duy le one). where as the grey one is a plain straight bar.
yeee i know, i was just saying the one you posted and the one i posted are the same.
you planning on getting it...its hot.
at one stage i wanted to get the 97 bumper with this lip, just cost too much. i think that grey one looks hotter than any kit ive seen, its simple, gives a nice elegence and grunt at the same time.
i dont know why you can get all these aftermarket copies of all these kits, but not the 97 bumper! i will buy it for 350 bux!
Hey dude, nah I'm not planning on getting it. If I ever did fit a kit to mine it's going to be an Auto Couture kit.
The reason why all the copies are going for cheap is because they are just that... copies. The originals cost a crap load more than the copies because of all the R&D that goes into them, plus the original companies have to make their money back on the money spent on moulds, tooling etc.
Ooh, genuine 97~ front bars are about $660 the last time I looked, genuine from Toyota. It gets real expensive when you want to buy the foggies and grille to go with that bumper that send the price over the top

Reason being is that they never actually had it in the first place to suit the 97 front as shown in the picture (Yes, false advertising). I bought one only to find that it was for the older front bar. It had to be completely refabricated to fit - and I mean completely. The entire underside does not follow the indent in the 97 factory front bar and it was two inches too short around the sides...
Took months to sort out and still had to pay for the refabrication work through local perth rep(long story)....
Someone else who has the time can take em to court I don't have the time bandwidth...

I feel for you Vinh - My thoughts exactly after spending a tonne on getting that Jetspeed front bar/lip fitted plus the rest of the kit fitted/modified and painted only a couple of months ago...
It could have been a genuine vertex widebody...*sniff*

I know Gregg.. I feel your pain brother!
Oh well, the genuine front bar may be an option at this point because my Origin front bar has warped. Might just sell it off and add a bit of extra cash for a genuine one!
