I used Q-Bond to repair mine, the only thing is that it is not flexible, so if you hit it again it could split off. Worth looking at, I bought some from repco about $20 something.

I was wanting to use something that would be flexible.. but I guess something along the lines of a fibreglass kit will be my best option.
What is plastic welding?

Pretty simple really, you heat plastic, it melts, you add more plastic if required, and when it cools it goes hard again.

Personally I use a heavy duty soldering iron, then sand to finish - but no doubt there are better/proper tools available.
