Mine is sprayed Silver to match my car but the paint cracks and comes off quite easily. Because your car is black i would recommend getting some glossy black spray paint and you can keep applying it when it looks shabby. Definitely the cheaper option!

Kanchana,
I painted mine body colour (mica red) a few months ago. You need to use flexi prime (avail in spray pack) suitable for rubber etc. This will allow a bit of bending with out the cracking. I had to get a litre of paint mixed due to the difficult colour. This was easy enough- just take your paint code to a decent paint shop and they can mix it for you. I also needed a clear coat which is available as a spray pack or by the litre at supercheap etc. If you are dead serious you can mix some additive to the base and clear coat to add to the flexibility of the paint. I didn't.
I did the whole job with the bar on the car. I just masked up the front bar with masking tape and news paper, and taped old bed sheets over the rest of the car to be sure.
Follow the directions on the paint tins. Flexi prime twice, as many base coats as you need to get a solid colour( not many with black on black I guess), and a couple of coats of clear. Remember that several thin coats are better than a thick coat that runs.
PS: I am not a painter so if there are any pros out there and I'm wrong let us know and we all learn!

The rims were on the car when I imported it from Japan. They are Racing Sparco Crimsonic fronts 18x8(or 8.5) 235/40 and rears 18x9(or9.5) 275/35. Can't remember exactly.
When I got the car they had an red anodised rim and centre cap which I polished. The spokes were charcoal. I got sick of this( they always looked dirty) and painted the spokes gold with a spay pack from supercheap to see what it looked like. Basically I have never gotten around to stripping them and painting them properly.

Tony,
Is that your car in your profile???
I have the stock front bar for 1992 jap spec model. They should be pretty easy to get hold of at an import wreckers (except for the fact that most accidents are frontal).
