hey guys imported a 1994 soarer sc300 (3.0 GT) and its dark metallic green.. anyways it was a bit of a nightmare and it turned up with some scratches so i got the option of fixing up the panels with the scratches for roughly $1k, or i can go the full respray for the $2-$3k option, so ive decided to go with that...

anyway what i'm after is a full black respray, but the metalic black type colour, does anyone know the colour code for a really bright/metallic like black, or the proper name for it?? also i want to get the car debage - will it cost much extra for the holes to be covered/painted?

thanks in advance, dave.

thanks for your help

Thanks Daniel Lee, so are you saying the orginal black for the soarer fits the description for what im after? a bright, metallic like black? Or is it just black is black, they are all the same.

Black ain't just black. A paint shop should be able to help you.

The alternative is to go to Auto One or Autobahn. They should have full colour descriptions available.
