Mine was debadged when I got it (check profile for a pic) at first I wanted some classy gold Lexus badges, but after a while I decided (and my boss convinced me) that it looks better with no badges at all - makes it nice and clean. Badges are just advertising

That's not the first time someone has asked me that exact question.. oddly enough (really odd) De-value the griffin? Sheesh, my car isn't THAT bad, I would have gotten an SC300 had I found one in a decent enough shape for a decent price... I just dont like the bowtie looking thing on there.. I wanna take that off and the dealership logo off.. THAT is what I dont like the most. Now that I have seen few soarers debadged.. they dont look so bad, but.. I still like the griffin symbol and the SOARER on the upper right side.. just opinon. And I would deffinelty keep the badges on with a wing.

Perry, if i had that color on my car the wing and badges would be coming off ASAP. Love that Wine color. Hey Tim, which skirts are on the car in your profile? They look pretty good. I want to put skirts on my car, i don't want anything on the rear, since i'm putting 275 rubber on and i want to show it off. Also the small rubber front lip that comes from the factory, was there a fibreglass option or do people just paint them?

Thanks for the compliments guys. Scott, the colour looks great (in my opinion) when washed and polished but it shows the dust like a son-of-a.

| The only reason Perry took his badges off is the lazy prick couldn't be bothered polishing them all the time. He was down to washing and waxing the car once a week with badgework. ...I think he back up to 2 hours a day sitting in his garage gazing at it now...

Sorry Katrina, just stirring Thanks for the compliment, Scott. I think they're Bomex, but can't be sure. I don't have anything on the rear bumper, which I thought looked like it was missing something, but I've grown used to it. The factory front lips are plastic and can be painted if primed properly. They look pretty dodgy if not prepped correctly and the paint flakes off.

Thanks for the information Tim, i went searching and came up blank, any idea on what type of prepping would be needed to paint that little black front lip on my pearl soarer? I've seen a couple that have been pretty badly flaked, anyone know how to prep this specific piece? Thanks a ton.

I know it sounds odd but I had the car de-badged when I had it painted and the only one's I kept were the "Limited" ones on the side and the "Soarer" on the rear. I think it looks pretty nice.
