For some reason my petrol cap wont open! And no its not because I have pushed the lock button in. Does anyone know a way I can pry it open or even have a photo of their on the inside so I can work out a way to fix it?!?

petrol cap or lid Jared?

If it's the lid, On the right hand side in your boot you'll find a Tag, pull it and it should release

If the tag isn't visible, it is probably behind the side boot liner. There is a slot in the liner it is supposed to hang out of.

While you are at it, make sure the drain isn't blocked. Inside the flap, there is a drain hole, suggest tip some water in it for a test, it should drain out underneath the car. The hose can get blocked or kinked.

Sometimes the problem is the spring behind the flap which pushes the flap open - it could be hinge is tight or the spring is bent or broken - either way, get someone to hold down the fuel cap button inside the car and then with a screwdriver or credit card or something similar, wedge in behind the flap and pry it open.

Haha all good, yeah I was talking about the door to the petrol cap that wouldnt pop. Played around with a knife for a while trying to pry it open while not scratching the paint but eventually it just worked when I pulled the lever. I checked it out and everything seems to be working fine. Thanks for the help tho its good to know about that second release tag.
