Hi guys, just got a 'L' badge. I am replacing that in rear center with Toyota badge. My understanding is, the hole ll be covered by the 'L' badge. Hence, i dont have to worry about filling up the holes and respray. Has anyone used this kinda badge before? any suggestion? cheers

Was there someone on here that was able to get the SC430 badge for fairly cheap? I thought i had read a post to that effect but i've searched and can't find it again.
I asked at the Lexus dealership here and it would be $125 CAD so about $150 australian dollars.

Is this a genuine Lexus sourced badge? Reason I ask is that the OEM ones do not cover the holes, but this one may ...
If you really want to rebadge your Soarer, remove the Toyota badge with some fishing line and try it!
You could always just proudly leave it alone, much easier and who REALLY cares.
As a sidenote, the US guys are flocking to rebadge their cars as Toyota's, as this is viewed as 'JDM, hard core Toyota' as opposed to 'Lexus, luxury barge....'

yeah, i'm not ashamed that my car is a toyota. For those who don't know that they are the same thing, who cares, but over here no one knows what car i'm driving. We don't have any soarers around so no one has a clue. Eventually i'm going to shave the badges anyway.
Khan, since your Soarer is silver the hole shouldn't be so evident if you use one of the caps off your original Toyota badge. That's what I did on my old Soarer anyway (it was silver too).
khan ive used the sc430 badge, which covers the hole. when i bought it i didnt realise the black surrounding was there.
i put it on...but personally its not that good, because i just dont like the backing, but i let it go since i my car is black. the size of it though is good. ive seen on yahoo auctions japan the big L badge without the black backing
either way there was a hole between the sc and the 300, so am gonna end up filling and respraying. when that happens off comes the badge.
ill put up a photo some time tomorrow

The badge above DOES cover the holes.. however, because of the curve on the boot lid this particular badge requires some "extra padding" one one half to make it sit properly...
