Quality looks fine. Loop, cut or shaggy cut. Cut would be the only way to go for a Soarer.

Agree with "cut" Rob, (assuming cut means "Plush"?)looking at there crappy website.

Upload

Loop------------------------Plush------------------------Super Plush

Obviously the 1st one is out as its loop, personally I think "Super Plush" is probably to long I'm thinking "Plush"

For those with the below trim in there car:

Upload

Your current OEM carpet should look like this:

Upload

Knox Carpet "Charcoal Plush"

Upload

Knox Carpet "Silver Grey Plush"

Upload

I'm not sure which way to go yet but I'm leaning toward Charcoal its basically identical (well at least by the photos with really isn't a good guide.....but what can you do?)The Silver Grey would probably look quite nice but its so much lighter its gonna show dirt & heaven forbid on my new carpet,marks.....Thoughts? comments

wow your trim looks soo nice and clean compared to mine which is all grubby and crap =(

Though I am a bit confused with the front seat area. Is that two pieces that over lap under the seat?

It was always gonna be in two pieces right from the start so no surprises there. The only part of the joint you will ever see (once the seats are back in) will be tiny on the sill. I'd guess also in no time at all it will sit down flat....its kinda kicking up cause its so new in the pic's. I'd say it would look fine.

It looks like they have supplied the small pieces that fix to the doors under the trim though, which was an unanswered question I wanted to know before I ordered.

What cut is it i.e loop, etc etc (see further up this tread)?

The doors are sprayed with VHF vinyl spray. I ordered the best quality and best looking so I don't know what cut it is.

So the penny drops.......they declined to include a couple of small little pieces for the doors in the original price. Knox carpets may not be the way to go

In my investigation for a new capet Knox was the only one willing to make one and those small pieces on the doors will be easy to spray.

Carl,
It would be to hard to instal this type of carpet onto the door pocket mate..

Carpet is very nice..

Allow 1 DAY to install it though, it's not an easy job.

It's actually Neil who put in the carpet, I think he separated the foam from the original and used that for the underlay. Knox said I can put it on top of the original. The hardest part I think must be to separate the foam and carpet, as I said I didn't do it so for me it was easy. But I recommend all people who would like to buy a new one to talk to Knox and maybe Neil.

Well, My Carpet arrived today, Damn it looks good, I went for the Dark Green to compliment the outside Colour, plus i'm going the Tan interior too, so it should look pretty good once installed.
I also had a chat to David from Knox, he said the best thing to do is cut the current carpet so all you keep the small portion for the footwells etc for the padding, and basically just lay the second carpet on top.

I will be doing it all next week so i can hopefully get some pics up for you guys that are still deciding to get carpet done or not.

Cheers

The ebay link in the post a few before this one is Knox Auto,

I have bought a carpet and have been slowly installing it ... and yes it will take you a while at least a whole day of doing some decent constant work

but I was impressed with the quality and found it Improved the look of the interior quite nicely
