Ok I bought a polished aluminium with black trim SAAS handbrake cover and boot only to find it is too small to fit over the OEM handbrake cover. Is the stock cover able to be removed so I can just fit the new SAAS one or what would be the best option? Thanks

Aren't they just connected by velcro?

Yep, the standard handbrake boot cover is held on by a small square of velcro. Just give it a tug and it should come off.

No not the boot cover - the actual handbrake handle cover I mean.

The Toyota parts EPC lists the hand-brake knob & lever as an assembly!!!

So I don't like ya chances unless ya's cut the cover off, then glue/screw....whatever, the new one on.
