I'm about to replace the stock headunit with a single din unit and the Sony single din drawer below.

I then have the problem of what to do with the 1/2 din space left over.

After doing some trawling on the net I found Scosche make a few products that might fill the space nicely. I'm thinking of getting one of these:

I've chosen this one as it's one of the only kits that just hangs off the single DIN unit above it as there's no mounting holes for the 1/2 DIN space.

What do you guys think?

Anyone got any better ideas?

Im going to be developing a vacuum molded ABS that fits a standard din radio and 3 2 1/16 gauges. Gimme a few weeks to work it out :-)

That would be great to have something custom made for the purpose.

I'm sure a lot of people would be interested.

My shop neighbor has a abs vacuum molding shop, all i have to do is make the molds. Im also in the process of making a 3 gauge a-pillar holder, but its for LHD cars
