i HAD the same 3 gauges mounted under the headunit aswell before!

if you are after the plate for it, they sell them on eBay for like $18..

it holds 3 x 52mm gauges!

leather is alot more nicer then velour. Plus it gives it the more luxurious feel.

Hey yang, why'd you put that monster tacho in your car? You already have a tacho.

Alan - that looks nothing short of pure car porn. Throw on a woodgrain and cream leather steering wheel as well

Alan
it's easy for me to change gear at high rpm.
if you put your hand on the top of the steering wheel then you will not see rpm from 5500-7000. i always changing gear around 7200 rpm.the more significant function that the tacho got is a shift lights. i am planning to get a defi head up display, more functions than the tacho.make me much much more easy when speeding.

Haha yeah shane i was planning on installing a momo fighter woodgrain but i couldn't justify spending $700 on the wheel and $200 on a bosskit (with cruise of course:-)).

Yang yeah get the head up display. Don't ruin your soarer with that monster tacho.

There was one on the forum a while ago, it had what looked like either white carbon, snakeskin or silver carbon in a funny light that made it look reptilian, applied over the centre console surround. Awesome, it was, been looking for it for ages.

Alan - if you check out my profile pic, my steering wheel is an Autotechnica I bought for $180. I've had for it for a year now, and have been really happy with it. Obviously, if it were me, I'd be getting the leather redone in a matching cream to suit the rest of your car, but I reckon something like thst would really finish off all the hard work you've put into yours

Shane, does it have a padded centre? If not, Alan would get bent over with no lube if he was found using that on the streets in Melbourne.

Alan, NO LUBE!

Maurice - really? Wow, wasnt aware of that law. Must be slighty different over here in WA. Mind you, I can think of PLENTY of older cars that were sold without padded centres on the steering wheels from factory too. Or is it just an airbag specific thing?

No, my Autotechnica wheel does not have a padded centre.

Nope the law is that if your car came with a padded center then the only steering wheels you're allowed to replace it with are ones with padded centers. Dunno bout you shane but i'm one who doesn't want to take it up the ass j/k
