OK, I am running out of ideas and its no longer fun. Boo hoo.
I know I can buy new seat belts from Melbourne, but I didn't want to pay $300 each. Is there no after market black seat belts. Is dying them black as good? Maybe wreckers? What wreckers? Just need some bloody seat belts.
Sorry guys, just had a bad day and then this guy thats had my belts for a week says he cant do them thats all.
The car can be finished in a day if I had the seat belts.

I know aaron has a full black interior. Not sure if its including seat belts though.

I'm going to try and dye them tonight, I wonder if thats just as good? Worried the dye might come off on everything?

What sort of a dye are you using Craig? How much and where can you buy them? Are they good for carpets?

wreckers don't sell 2nd seatbelt as its against the law. Is that $300 retail?

Yes you can buy second hand belts from wreckers, I just did.
I know its illegal to fit them but whose to know.
I still used my parts,and the belts are not altered in any way, they simply swap straight over.the second hand belts still have Australian standard tag on them.
I only paid $120, so don't bother dying them, it didn't work, it came straight off and that was over night.

Delan, use VHT vinyl and carpet dye on you carpets, it turns out really good.

Does anyone know whether you can just buy generic seat belts from Repco and fit the into a Soarer as I need a new drivers one. Also would a generic one fit into the factory buckle?
