i think his hand brake cover is still to be put on im not sure, theres a few other little things he has up his sleeve so i will let him fill you in on those, but as far as i know it was at a place in Nerang, i got a carpet quote for mine and it was around the 300 mark for black which is pretty damn good i think. |

Thanks Nathan for helping with the pics.
OK where do I start? First thing I did was came up with the color scheme, It had to be two tone because the car is already two tone (brown & tan).
I chose black & white.
Step 1, I found a guy that repairs and spray paints vinyl. He gave me a quote to paint the dash, door trims, console, basically everything that isn't leather, window surrounds so on.
If I pulled it all out for him and all he had to do was paint, that was $900 and I had to put it all back.
Good news is you dont have to take the dash out, he took the windscreen out to paint the dash.
Much cheaper and easier, $100
The carpet was around $350.
The seat belts were easy, all I did was went to the wreckers and bought any kind of black belts $120 and used my seat belt mechanisms. There is no re stitching needed and no safety breach, I know its still illegal but goes back together the same way it came off.
My friend from Nerang Motor Trimming, Craig has done the carpets and the arm rests, the whole back shelf, the roof lining, the seats, the console lid, steering wheel, hand break, gear shift, Not sure how much exactly but think that bit will be around $1500 so all up around $2800
The trick is to do the pulling apart and put back together your self. the more you do the less you pay for. Ive been told the total interior would normally cost $5000 saved about $2000 |
