Does anyone know how hard it is to remove the Air purifier , i am making a new parcel shelf and going to cover the vents, so i want to take the whole thing out

Remove the parcel shelf.

Unbolt purifier (about 6 bolts from memory?) Un plug wire.

Remove.

Time taken. 10 mins.

Mine is integrated into the read midrange speaker covers. Also the dial switch for it is located by my left knee.

Also, use Search. You will find more photos like Daniel's useful one, and photos of the unit itself above the fuel tank. If you do not have obvious grilles on the back parcel shelf, you do not have the purifier.

While we are talking about this particular gizmo, I have noticed that the auto setting really works, occasionally bringing on the purifier in appropriate conditions. Excuse my earlier doubts about the effectiveness of this capability.
