hey everyone, i've got a small problem with door locks for my car. well the problem is that when i lock my locks with the console found on the driver side, yknow where you have the mirrors and the windows adjustors and so on. well anyways, the lock button on that is on the console, when i press it it locks only the passenger side, not the drivers side. is there anyway of fixing this problem?
Another thing, i've heard/seen that when you drive pass 40km/h, the doors are suppose to lock automatically. i'm just wondering, why mine doesn't do that, is it because there is a unplug plug or maybe its with the option when you choose your soarer?
i know this isn't a big issue but if i don't fix it, it might end up to be something of a big issue. i hope i can get some help. thanks.

ok.. well i've taken out the door trim and what i see was a little black box that is at the end of the door, closer to the end near the door handle. would that be the motor? and also would it mean that the metal string would need to be adjusted since the locking lever isnt closing?
Hey Peter. Is your soarer the GT-T model (povo pack) like mine, as opposed to the GT-T Limited one? You know, one without electric seats, scroll dash, TEMS and crap like that? Coz my model doesn't seem to have this carjacking feature at all, never locks automatically by itself, yet central locking works fine and locks all doors like it should.
Perhaps some models don't have this feature installed, can someone please confirm this, otherwise mine is buggered as well
Hmmm, must be the immobiliser in my car then, it's connected to the central locking so opens remotely. I'm gonna take it apart this weekend and check it out. Hopefully there's an easy fix, does anyone know precisely what to look for? Is it located in the door or somewhere in the dash?
