yeh that is nice !

im still wanting to remove my woodgrain and get it painted (white) but i have not had the time to get it sorted yet.

I assume its a pretty tough job pulling all the woodgrain out ?

I may just start looking for some plastic pov pack stuff and respray that as opposed to sprayin over the woodgrain.

That is really nice. Much better than a stick on kit, and cheaper than a Modicoat.

I give it 9.5 Capsicums

The blue really works well with the dark background. Very very good. Has a 3D effect. Makes me want to play house music.

Seeing beautiful wood get painted over makes me cringe. But that's probably because I've spent too many hours stripping paint off wood around the house, and I guess its a bit different for a car...

I sorta like it but dont...

Looks good the effect but I personally feel its a bit too, 'gangsta' for the interior of a soarer!

Good on you for the uniqueness though!

Very 1980's SPACE VOYAGER...but hey, I reckon a Soarer interior would match some 80's futurists ideas of a space voyager so huzzah!

Nice work, but I'm with Matthew. I cringe at beautiful birdseye maple covered up.

We have some pov pack plastic trim from the old Soarer(I put woodgrain in it) which I might sell later- it's pretty pricey to post from this rock:-)

It really shows how much better kits that have dark colors look. The factory black/charcoal/light grey switchgear can look really strange with wood kits, this looks nicely matched. Im thinking about the same!

Looks cool! That is a great idea!! I'd put some clear gloss on it too or just buff it to make it smooth though, but that's just a personal choice...

Nah not that hard. I've done that a year ago when I was polishing my woodgrain. Doors take 5 minutes if not less. The dash perhaps 15, depending on how tight butterfly nuts are behind the dash woodgrain... All you gotta do is just remove the glovebox, easy!
