Are you talking about the instrument cluster or are you talking about the whole dashboard? The bottom half of the dashboard isn't too bad. The hardest part to take out is the centre console.

Just the bottom half of the dash . I am in the process of trimming the doors a different colour and just want to match the bottom and still keep the two tone , so all i need is to get the bottom half of the dash out

Ok, thanks guys, center console removal it is
Daniel,
The glove box comes off with easy, just open it and undo all the screws (pain to put back on). The Key ignition panel is easy too, just take off the key surround plastic part and then pull the piece towards you. The part at the drivers knees comes off with 3 screws underneath.. Pretty easy.
Post up some pics when you are done.. What colour are you trimming it in? Are the doors hard to do? I have been doing my own re-trim and haven't attempted the doors yet

how did you go about removing the part below the drivers steering wheel, the part with the strategically placed cooler/warmer vent on it? in order to remove it on my car i had to bend outwards the piece that Tai has highlighted above to incredible angles so that it would unclip from it's housings, but i had to seriously distort that piece to pull that lower drivers cover out. anyone have better suggestion, or is that the only way? cheers Damien

Doors are going to be a pain due to them both cracking so i have to fix them first and then trim.Colour will be beige and i am leaving the top half of the trim in the car the same colour as came from factory, i don't mind the two tone interior

Damien, I don't think i have removed that part yet. From what you described there would almost have to be a better way
What is used to colour the transmission tunnel/center console part? I was thinking of spray paint but then i thought i read something about vinyl dye.. Or is that just for the flexible parts?
