It's ply wood with a small piece of angle iron in the rear left corner to pick up on the fuel tank mounting bolt. The front support is a piece of aluminium round bar with a 6mm stud in the top end which replaces one of the rear window wiper mounting bolts. The bottom of the round bar is tapped to 8mm for the bolt you can see below it. A piece of clark rubber foam is jammed into the space between the wood and the tank for some additional support. p.s didn't mean to sound too harsh Alan.

thats pretty cool paul. You should install gentoox on it and use it as a car pc. Would be cool to install a wireless setup for the xbox but i doubt you'd get a very good signal
