It's ply wood with a small piece of angle iron in the rear left corner to pick up on the fuel tank mounting bolt. The front support is a piece of aluminium round bar with a 6mm stud in the top end which replaces one of the rear window wiper mounting bolts. The bottom of the round bar is tapped to 8mm for the bolt you can see below it. A piece of clark rubber foam is jammed into the space between the wood and the tank for some additional support.
p.s didn't mean to sound too harsh Alan.

xbmc. one cable is an extension of the controller port so i can have the remote control receiver in the front of the car, another is for some other control, on/off, cd draw open/close etc.
with a 200gb hard drive i'm still downloading music to it.

i dont have a PC or x-box / ps whatever but i have mounted my 2 amps above the fuel tank.

has not givin me any dramas and they slotted in there quite nicely.

Just dont forget to put a fuse close to the battery in the engine bay.

And make sure it's connected properly. I had two amps blow on me because some battery "expert" halfway disconnected my fuse.

Or get a fuse like this:

I've got 2 batteries...which one do I use? Mwahahah

1300CCA total, probably about 220RC.

Cost me $11 per metre for the battery cable though!

thats pretty cool paul. You should install gentoox on it and use it as a car pc. Would be cool to install a wireless setup for the xbox but i doubt you'd get a very good signal

Who has Car PCs installed in their cars, where do you have installed the monitors inside the car? or have you used the EMV as the monitor?
