Hey Peoples, Just a question, ive searched through the threads and couldn't find anything.. Does any one know what type of bulb is inside the ECT switch near the gear stick, and does anyone know where i can get them from?? i wanted to change it to blue..

The best way would be to change it to an LED i'd reckon.. Last forever..
Pull it apart and follow the same guidelines in the blue LED tutorials  |

It's not a standard bulb. You have to buy them from Toyota.
They only cost a few bucks each, and they usually last a decade. |

Wicked, looks like somebody has the same problem as I do, except, their Dimmer Control Regulator works too Thanks for the info guys appreciate it heaps.
P.S. Just in case of confusion, I'm not the one that asked the question, I just have the same problem |

hey, would any one have a tut on how to change a bulb to a led?? like in the ECT button?? ive got no clue on how to do that sort of stuff! cheers |

Have a look in the How-To section, there are a couple of tutorials on LED swaps. |

Thanks peter, still cant find anything though, i jus had a look but there is nothing on how to change one of those special little bulbs you get from toyota to a LED... i might just give up on this damn thing |

I've got the part numbers somewhere on my home laptop, will dig around and let you know tonight or tomorrow morning what the part number is for the light bulb. I had to get one myself. They were 5 bucks each from memory, you'll need two. |

Joshua...I have 4 lying about in my cup holder I am no longer using, I find I get better light without them, I enjoy them more.

I ordered some blue condom's from the UK and they don't work that well. I find that they just emit a dull green instead of the blue i want. I will do the LED mod when i get the time instead |
