Dont know whether anyone has mentioned this before but the factory Supra steering wheels are an excellent replacement for the stock Soarer ones!
I always thought the factory Soarer wheel was way too big, the Supra ones are about 20mm smaller and more importantly a fair bit chunkier, feels so much better and more comfortable to drive, while also retaining the stock appearance that i wanted.
So yeah this should definately be an option, particularily if you need an airbag wheel but dont want to fork out $800 for a TRD one ( which may not work on pre-'96 or cruise control cars anyway)
The Supra wheels came in 3 and 4-spoke designs both with and without airbags, on the 4-spoke that i got the only change necessary was a small adjustment to the mounting of the cruise control stalk - other than that it was pretty easy to install, remembering to disconnect the battery before unplugging the airbag!

I would say the only downfall is that you dont have the Griffin Emblem??? Unless you can get that from some where as well...
I do believe Neil has it on his car....a custom 3 spoke wood grain trim steering wheel with the Griffin emblem smack in the middle.... Maybe ask Neil on the replacement centre caps for the steering wheels??

Murray, the problem isn't at your end. The pics are actually links to another site and it looks like the other site is either offline of the pics have been deleted.
For this reason, I am considering disabling the thumbnail (link) option.

Yep the site hosting my pics is down, sorry bout that
Straight fit Brian, i looked at the tutorial on here to get teh wheel off, just make sure you disconnect the battery before unplugging the airbag.
As i said the only mod is if you have cruise control you need to reposition the stalk a little but its not that difficult, it still mounts in basically the same way.
The Supra wheels could be had secondhand from an import wrecker or from somewhere like Supraforums AU
Obviously if you dont need/want an airbag one it will be a lot cheaper, i got mine for $250 which i think is pretty good considering
