Hello...

Just took out the passenger seat in my soarer and have currently taken off the back plastic and base plastic surround

Now I was wondering if anyone had one of those diagrams that
show you bolts and stuff holding the metal stuff on the bottom to the seat ... or if anyone knows how to remove the stuff from the bottom so that i can pull of the cloth trim

Thanks heaps
Ive searched and its helped me get to where I am now just couldnt find anything that goes further

Yes ... i remember reading through your post ... that was just to get the plastic piece off which i have done ...

What I am still lost with is how to get all the electrical/metal stuff off the bottom of the seat so that I can thread stuff through the seat for new trim

ok you take off the backing by unscrewing, i think, two screws at the bottom of the seat. then lifting it in a upwards motion, should unclip from the top. this will expose the back

you will see how the trim is attached to the seat - by copper loops which you can take off

i think there is a screw at the top, but not sure, look around and you will figure it out.

then just pull the trim off the metal frame.

NOW for the bottom part of the seat, you will see two hexagonal bolts sticking out on EACH side. take these off, and the bottom bit should come off the metal frame. also you need to take the electric movement module which is attached, two screw, no biggie

hope that helps, i did this about a 9 months ago. hope it helps. if you finding any problems, spare seats are in the garage still with the trim and components off it. ill take a look and take some pictures and rekindle my memory...only if you still have problems

but i think you will be of with those instructions
