Hey everyone, I am in the process of fitting my seat covers - taking the long way around...e.g. white threads and disassembling the front seats...hard work! Anyways, I was just wondering, probably a dumb question but is there any special care instructions for these covers? Can I use AmourAll etc? I just wanna make sure I get plenty of life out of them.
I will have pictures to post of my seats soon!

Hey everyone...here are my pics of my interior now, and the little hook thing I used to do the seats (stainless with one end sharpened and the other end has been hooked around). We used the white threads and I am glad, although there are some places where I think it's almost impossible to and we missed those threads and just cut them off (the front of the front seat bum cushions). We also ended up releasing this cushion (it's only 4 bolts on the passenger seat and a couple of other clips and the 4 bolts for the driver seat) so we could get the cover right down and firm on the seat. It wasn't too much more to do that, and I would recommend doing it rather than trying to force the cover down there because the seat is pretty flush against that rail assembly. It does take a while to fit if you do it properly, I have scrapes and cuts all over me because those stupid rails really ARE sharp...
Oh...and we also removed the bottom seat shrouds...it's only a handful of screws, they needed repairing and painting anyways.

Also, I wanted to know, has anyone successfully fitted the vinyl to the parcel shelf? Do you just glue it down or something?

We used VHT vinyl dye. It was a big job and there are some places that need redoing. We got that aftermarket moulded carpet aswell, if my factory carpet was in good condition, I would have dyed it though.

When you start taking everything apart to dye it, you'll be amazed how many more bits and pieces you'll find that also need painting.
