hey guys,

my soarer has a really worn steering wheel, im thinking of replacing it with a newer lexus model (gs300, es300).

my question is that will a airbag wheel fit to a non airbag car?

I think it'd probably fit OK, obviously the airbag won't work - but why would you want a bulky ugly airbag wheel that doesn't actually work?

because most of the newer lexus wheels have an airbag.

David, if your soarer comes with a SRS system stock its illegal and can void your insurance in the event of a crash.

I cant see a problem if you didnt have a SRS system stock and replacing the wheel with an airbag model. The only problem is the size of the spline and its compatibilty with your new chosen wheel.

Would it be a safety issue having a charged airbag without any of the correct electronics to control it?

I pose the question only because i dont know and i'd hate to see someone get a broken nose for no reason! ;)
