Guys my trim will be completed in a few weeks and I was planning on putting a Lexus badge on the steering wheel. Problem is, the big exterior Lexus badges are found everywhere but not a smaller one that could be mount on the steering wheel. I even asked CMI Toyota and was told they sell no such thing as all the Lexus steering wheels come with them fixed together- not sold separately. I am not too keen on one of the trimmer embroidered/emblemed ones as I would rather a chrome one. I know there are some air bag issues with having the wheel wraped in leather and covered with such a badge but I still want to do it. Any suggestions would be awesome. Cheers!
PS- I abandoned my plans on a full red interior. Not gonna be red. Show it to you after its finished

If the air bag ever deploys you will have the LEXUS stamp on your forehead for ever.ahh ahh
In REVERSE! Go on a yank site and hit up one of the longer term member for a hornpad swap. I've done this twice now and all it's cost me is about $17 postage. I just used our other car for the week.

it would be embossed. If you really want one with the chrome emblem I could do it. I could go to lexus and find the proper size emblem and then fix it to the steering wheel. PM me for more details.

Whats happening with mine is the pad is getting retrimmed in leather. So what would be best for me is if I could get just the proper size emblem (and not the big sized front and rear lexus badges), preferrably in chrome which I could put on the pad. Do you think you could possibly chase up this right sized emblem man? Thanks for taking the time to try and help me out here.

Yes. I could find the proper size "L" emblem for your wheel. Are you putting it over the griffon logo? wouldn't it be better to get a genuine lexus steering wheel pad and re-cover that one? I will start looking for the emblem today.

Eric, Yah I thought about getting the genuine lexus pad and painting it, but the temptation to have leather was too much. So if it is getting warpped up in leather anyway it doesnt matter what sign sits under it- the griffin or the L. So yeah. Greatly appreciate mate.
Michael, I tried that site but its jiberish writing- when I wanted to download the language thing it asked for a CD, so havent followed it up.

Tahmid I have a centre cover that has had a chrome lexus emblem "molded" into it with a woodgrain backing. It's one of the normal external ones so it may be too big for what you are after but whoever did it took the time to integrate it into the horn pad. It's not 100% professional but it may suit your needs. I was going to use it at one stage but my plans on steering wheels changed....If you are interested in it drop me a line and I'll send you a pic... admin@importscene.com.au
