Hi All,
Here are my pics of the newly fitted covers - its looking pretty schmick if i do say so myself. It was a fair few hours work to get it all done, but worth it in the end. I bought a crochet needle and also used a skewer when necessary to get the white string through the fabric.
As you can see i haven't fitted the center console armrest yet but will do now I have seen Alan's pics.
Has anyone done the door arm rests as yet?

They do look very loose. It's important to get the elastics behind the seats as taught as possible so they put the pleather under tension in order to prevent the wrinkles. You also need to use the white strings to pull the material 'into' the seat, otherwise it ends up like a trampoline.
I contacted Ultimate and they recommend the use of both} elastics and the white strings in order to get a professional fit (guess that's why they provided them....)

For mine i used the white strings for all of the seats apart from the front bottom cushions. I didn't bother because of the electrics under that. Might do it one day when i can be arsed.
In regards to the various wrinkles around it. I screwed up by overtightening it.

Believe me I have pulled through every white piece of string and elastic band...I am going to leave them for a week or two of warm sunlight and my heavy arse giving them a stretch - then I will see if I can be bothered having another go at tightening them.
I agree with Alan - in some places you need to be careful not to over tighten the white string.
I gather no one has yet to attempt the arm rests or parcel shelf?

WEEEEEE will all get refunds!!
YAY!!!
Let me just say....you guys have not made it easy lol. What I mean is....I never thought it would take soooo much work to get to 20 people. HAHA, but I'd do it again if I had to, the product was well worth it and so far everyone has been really happy with them. So i'm glad it worked out. Thanks to all the guys that have participated so far.

Here are some pics. Keep in mind my interior is not complete yet, about 3 months ago, this interior was a completely stock standard spruce interior. Its coming along nicely. The centre console, the carpets and the plastic trim on the doors and dash still need spraying. Also, I'm not happy about the way the pics show the red patch on the seats, because it was directly in the sun...but they look really sexy. I threw in one pic of my new headlights ;)

These interiors look sweet guys!
How long will they hold the group buy deal for us? I'd like to get a set but can't afford it just yet
I would like to 2nd both of thoses notions!
Christian did they stitch that griffon into the handbrake cover for an additional cost? If not can they stamp it with the Lexus 'L'like in your seats? Can they make leather seat belt covers like the cloth one you have? Also can you find out how much an additional square metre of ivory leather would cost on top of the $650 pack? Thanks mate.

Hey guys,
The handbrake cover in my interior is from a previous group buy on this forum. They were $80 or something.
I'm not sure if they can stamp a logo into it...I dont think they do, but I will check. Also, not sure about the seat belt covers. They would only be plain if he did them...not have any designs on them.
Also, he can supply extra material, I will try to get a price for you.
However, I have been working on this group buy for over 2 months now, have sent countless amounts of emails and made sh#t loads of phone calls, so I dont want to keep it open for too much longer unless there is a lot more interest. At the moment I have been saying that it will close in 2 weeks. If you want...I may be able to take deposits to secure your interior package, and you can pay it off at a later date (not too long down the track though). Keep in mind that if you pay the deposit to the supplier, you have to be sure, as you will not get this deposit back if you pull out. Just saves a lot of hassles.
So, if anyone wants in and cannot pay it all within the next 2 weeks, email me and we will work something out.

Christian, just a suggestion mate, but I would make any interested parties pay a minimum deposit of at least 50% as this will really flush out those who aren't serious about this kind of thing.
