Hey,

This is my first post on soarer central and i've had a quick search and couldn't quite find what I was looking for!

I was wondering how much it would cost to fix the following items and in your opinion and experiences are they worth the money to fix, or should I put up with the faults!

Electric seat adjuster for back rest doesn't work and the slide isn't the most reliable.

Fuel gauge doesn't work, it always reads empty. I did read a DIY on this in one of the sections and would this fix my problem?

The windscreen washers also don't work.

The left side rear-view mirror controls also don't work!

And last but not least the heater control display in centre console is inoperative (i.e no good. I understand that these can be tricky to fix and that they don't really affect the performance of the air-con/heating!

Thank you for your time.

Anthony

I guess it's dependent on what's actually wrong with the items. For example the windscreen washers could be jets blocked by dirt - try wiggling a needle in the opening. The left side mirror control could be a plug that is loose. the a/c display is a common fault, and the best is to get a later model unit from a wreckers and install it yourself - it is NOT hard and there is a tutorial on this forum to assist you. The other faults - not sure, but probably work doing a search on clublexus - they may have sone words of advice.

In summary it looks like the majority of the issues are quite minor, and probably well within the reach of a DIY-er.

Thanks for your help, its much appreciated. I'm not exactly a mechanic (understatement of the year) but I am more than willing to give it a shot!
