i think a 14mm socket rolled into the air con vent under the passenger seat and I can hear it rolling around when i turn corners. How do I get to it, asides from removing the seat and all carpet??

Have someone in the backseat ready to catch it when you accelerate.

5 mins and you will have the seat out. the little vents are also easy to get to once the seat is removed.

I'm pretty sure the vents are not straight all the way in though or else it would have rolled out going up the steep hill i live up. Thanks, Adrian I may well give it a go, haven't removed a seat yet so would be worth it just to learn how to do it.

Really? I've got about $30 floating around under my seats in $1 and $2 denominations... that sounds like a decent hourly rate.
