Thanks for the tips Chris,
I wont need to use as much VHT as im going a two tone look in my soarer.
Did you use the plastic spray for the centre console lining thingo? - the one with the volume and AC control dials.
Wow nice tip about covering the woodgrain with contact adhesive ! I would have to get my mum to do it for me though as i would just get bubbles in it.......
Im going to keep my woodgrain but im going to sand it and re-polish it up like what Luke Middleton did in his soarer

Here it is with the seats now in, pity they are a tad different shade of red. Still a few bits left like the windows trim and A-Pillar. Thats it from me, no more interior attempts for a while now.
Pity I don't have any before shots, but I'll use someone elses spruce interior to give you guys an idea of how it was before. Obviously mine was not as good as this one, mine was horrific! The dash and door weren't even the same shade of spruce!

Rook, I am not doing it again, I haven't even had the motivation to fit my A-Pillar trim back on after about a month now haha. Spent roughly $250 on paint/dye, $700 for both the seats and took me roughly 4 days working on it after work at night time.
Seats are great for support but get damn uncomfortable on long drives, worth the sacrifice of weight though as Motorplex times got a fair bit better!
I used the universal rails that came with the seats and welded up my own brackets to match the standard bolt fittings, now sits a bit lower.

Adam, it's pretty much straight forward, just take your time between coats. Small amounts at a time. Just make sure theres no dirt/grease on the surface before spraying. I just used the Prep Wash at Auto-Pro in Bentley.
