danny so even after countless amounts of sitting, the paint will not come off or fade in places.

I used Motorspray for the centre compartment/armrest part. It did soak in pretty well, but after a quick wipe with armorall, it slightly faded off a tiny bit (have to really look close), so I backed away. VHT had no problems when using armorall on it.

Again as stated, It must be prepped and primed using leather wash with dye it, No it doesn't come off unless you are stupid and get some sandpaper or something, The first thing i did was just spray the centre console using motorspray and even with 5 coats it just came right off when i cleaned it. YOU MUST USE A PRIMER.....

I don't know about the motorspray, but the VHT is not meant to be put on heavily & no primer to be used as it is supposed to be sprayed only until desired colour is reached (2 coats or so), primer will just stop it penetrating the vinyl. You just have to make sure it is cleaned thoroughly before spraying.

I had a look at Danny's car on the weekend, and the black coating looks mint despite the car being a daily driver.
