I think there's a listing on here somewhere which shows the year/model of soarers and the colours that were available, not sure if it showed interior as well. I know when they became VVT-i's (from mid 96' and onwards) the black on black option was more available. Most of the guys here with later model soarers would have a black on black one. It was definitely an option in the early models, but I believe it was more rare. If your looking for an early model black on black soarer, you need to look hard .. later model shouldn't be a problem.

it is the series 2 onwards, and was an optional extra. no series 2 soarers came standard with black velour/leather interior. Even black soarers (like mine) it was still an option, however most came with them as the beige interior and black duco just looks wired

mmmmm. being leather, that will definately be rare. i have only seen 1 VVT-i turbo GT-TL Black exterior and black leather interior. it looks hot, especially with red stitching.

Andrew, that car is a 32. That's a whole different game than simply black/black. I believe a few people have looked over this car and commented in the past.

I'd also be interested in this thread with the interior listings, as I seem to have a different spruce interior to everyone else (FA10 as opposed to FB10).
My seats lack the 'ribs' and have a faint zig-zag pattern in the cloth.
A real bummer after driving to Sydney to look at a couple of back seats...(errr-that didn't come out right)
