Yeah i think a wire is exposed in the door, been planning on having a look for a while as it cuts out my power windows when the door is open more than half.

Hi Guys,
I have been looking around and can not find anything about his. What LED's Types are for Instrument Cluster. That is the Fuel, Scroll, ODO/TRIP Reset and clock buttons just under dash.
Are they Wedge T5's? Neo Wedge T5 or T3's? So I could just plug and play them just like the Sig Lighter, Drivers Footwell, Key Hole Light, TRC,ECT PWR, VOL and TEMP.
Or are they LED 3mm Blue 1000mcd CAT. NO. ZD0130 (Australian reference, www.jaycar.com.au) and so have to solder them in like the Window Control Lights and Auto Letters. (I would assume they are this type)

Hey Mate, i was wondering the same thing the other day so i pulled it out this morning and had a look. Its a neo wedge bulb and im guessing its gotta be a T3. I recently brought ones for the ECT buttons etc and i think its exactly the same as that! SO yeah T3! im about to order some!

Hey guys, I bought some new t3 neo wedge globes for the buttons below my dash (eg.Clock, Trip, etc) and I couldn't get them to work, I tried reversing them to make sure I had them in the right way. Does anyone else have any ideas??

Hi Trent,
The problem with that is the fit. The t3's are a bit to long to fit in nice and snug. So you need to file down the clear bit that has a semi circle in it so the bulb has more room and also file the end of the bulb down some so it is shorter. Then when you screw it in it will not be under as much pressure and not be push out as much which stops it from working.
It took me a bit of fiddling but I got it in the end. The blue will not be super bright on the sides of reset and flue but it will be good enough.

Hey mitchell,
Thanks for your help. I don't understand what you mean by the "clear bit". Could you elaborate for me?? Is it on the globe or on the board where the globe fits into???
