Hey guys. On the way to work this morning and went to put the window down and it was fine. Went to put it back up and it had alot of troubles. It goes up a certain way and then about two inches from the top it stops and i have to give it a hand and push it up. The motor sounds fine. Is it the window reg? And does anyone around liverpool/ campbeltown know how to do it? Can get a new one for bout $155 brand new off toyota

i had the same issue. mine would have trouble going down, but fine going up. best thing to do is go to any auto store, and buy a can of WD-40 and spray it down the tracks on the side. the issue will probably be that the rubbers have dried out and are gripping rather than slipping

Andrew Best thing to do is to take your door trim off and wind your window up and down while looking inside your door and see what's actually slowing it down from winding up and down, or what's happening with the Regulator. If you change the regulator it might help but then again might still do the same thing?? Due to the window channels/tracks. I have changed a soarer regulator before, it's not too hard of a job, there is a Tutorial somewhere you can find on how to change it, most important thing is to make sure while the window is bolted off the Regulator make sure you tape it up or get someone to hold it up so it does not drop down into the door and break, and also make sure the window is not under any pressure otherwise can also break. just my 2 cents
