| Hi guys, Recently I got bored so I replaced my interior/boot/numberplate lights with white LED's. If you're sick of dim yellow factory interior lighting this is a great low cost fix I made up a guide for all the bulbs you will need, hopefully this will help out anyone whos considering doing this. Apologies for the crap phone pics but you get the idea. |

| i just wired a of led's to each of these portions. just make sure that you have the right resistors and you'll be fine. i converted my door lights to be on at all times along with white gear shift and white aircon lights it makes a very nice classy effect. |

| here is what i did today. the results are stunning. i am very happy. the first pic shows the two different types of led lighting that i used. the larger of them were used in the overhead lights, all three of them. the smaller of the leds were used in the doors, and the boot. the rest of the pics were taken tonight with my phone, so they are not the greatest, but you get the idea.

so as you can see the light is very bright, and nice and white. none of that yellow crap. all of the leds were bought from two ebay sellers. if anyone wants their user names, ill be happy to pass the info along. Jason. |

| Just a question. Is it illegal to have the number plates lighting in white? |

| used led park and number plate lights on my last two cars, and never had a problem. in fact, if you have good enough led(s) the plate will be MORE visible than with stock globes. as long as the plate is lit up, and the white light is not shining rearward, you should have zero trouble. Jason. |

| Reccommend Warden_JP highly as well... one of the best traders I have dealt with. Would be keen to also see what type the tail lights/brake lights/indicators are to see if those come in an LED option Would be handy for something a bit brighter given that my tail lights have a generous coating of nightshade over them. Also, whats mentioned about the boot lights, I have done that, moved the central one to the drivers side of the boot, and then run wiring from there behind the rear cover where the tail lights are and across the other side for another light in the passenger side... works brilliantly at night! |

I thought the same thing. I have a green light in the driver's side foot well, but I thought that was from the ignition. Do Soarers have stock foot well lights, and mine have been blown ever since I had the car? If that's the case I'm gonna go nuts with LEDs. |

| Tom, there is a footwell light on the drivers side, but not on the passengers side. the stock globe, is so dim, that even if it works, you probably will not see it. choose wisely (in led's) and let there be light ! Jason. |
