this has been prolly covered a million times but i thought id annoy everyone. just resprayed my carpets in septone spray cans. took about six cans and looks heaps better but noticably stiff. problem is that the spray didnt get to the bottom of the pile despite brushing etc. anyone thought of another method...using solvents or other water soluble dyes? everyone goes on about vht brand but supercheap were having a sale so i thought what the hell, and they didnt have vht. is vht any different. hmm.

i used 4 and a bit on my old falcons carpet/parcel shelf, its RANCID stuff, made the car stink like a chromers house for a good 2 weeks, and started to fade off after about a month. if you can just get new carpet in the colour you want.

well i brushed the carpet one way sprayed and then the other and sprayed and its still pretty crap lol and if you rub it hard with a foot or something just rubs off lol... so i make sure i only have my feet on my floormats.

aaron im glad you had a similar experience. well not glad per se but glad im not the only one who is mildly dissapointed. im wonder if you were able to mix in some paint with some thinners into something else and really soak the bastard down to the pile. i dont feel like ripping up my whole carpet and dyeing or replacing.
