I've recently been doing all the little maintenance bits & pieces on both the Soarer & the Celsior that have been hanging around for the last few months. I've bought mats for the Soarer, but the Celsior mats were in good nick, just pretty dirty. Also, the original mats have sound deadening qualities, so it's preferable to keep them if you can. So I tried the "CT18 Truckwash" method(recommended from a post here on SoarerCentral)with a few personal mods added & here's the results.
Method: - "CT18 Truckwash" from Repco, diluted with water as per instructions on bottle in 60 litre garbage bin; - Added a capful of dynamo liquid laundry detergent; - Sprayed the hard stains with Preen laundry stain remover; - Left overnight, about 12 hours, to soak; - a cap of cuddly woolen fabric softener for the last few hours of soaking; - Hit them with my Karcher high pressure sprayer the next day; - Used a window squeegie to drag the excess water from them, which worked a treat; - Left to dry in direct sunlight for 2 days. Make sure its going to be warm days before you start, otherwise they wont dry & go stinky.
Result: 95% perfect & smell pretty good too. Sounds like a cocktail, but I'm pretty impressed with the results.

They are actually crush kill destroy death-monger flowers of the most masculine variety, ready to attack at any moment anyone that puts on them. Flowers aside, they did clean up pretty well. They could, however, have chosen more wisely...maybe even a toyota logo??? Apart from the mats the interior is pretty cool.
