Hey guys, got in the car and noticed this happening....... gets a fair bit of heat in the car during the day and i think that has caused it. need help to find fix for it

So blurry - is that the odometer? If so, probably a replacement dash is the cheapest/easiest fix.

Yeah I've got that in my car too, I assumed it's bleeding, like how you see on bleeding climate control units, except blue not black.

Considering the price of a second hand dash these days, I'd also say replacement dash is the way to go, just swap over all your blue conversion bits.

Keep this as a spare.

Cant really make out what it is, but if it is your instrument cluster then you have a problem with it remaining sealed, pull your cluster out and check that it is sealed and not loose or open in any way. You could try sealing it with silicone or just buy a new one.

i fixed it!

i pulled it apart and found the odometer lcd looked like this

so i went to my mates and he has a wrecked soarer in his back yard that we steal bits off but the dash was smashed in the crash but luckily i pulled it apart to find this

i didn't realise there were individual screens inside. but yeah replaced it and it looks all good again :-)
