hey im looking at getting a wheel and hopefully soon as hot 4's want a photoshoot but i cant decide on what to get.. the 3 i like are the vertex drift design with black logo (625!!) and a few sparco ones on ebay. id love to get a trd airbag one but dont have that kind of money lol
the other ones i like are these

im also wondering if the sparco comes with a horn centre buttons and if they are the same stud pattern/size as momo or some other one to get a boss kit for..

The R345 looks tuff, though possibly out of place on a Soarer. If possible seeing them in person will help you decide which one you like most, you're the one that has to live with it.

On the other hand, you want to impress Hot 4's magazine then a crappy Autotechnia F1 wheel with plenty of NOS buttons should do the trick, don't forget lots of chromed accents, useless gauges, plastics painted in some gaudy colour, stupid hanging from the mirror, chequer plate floor mats and over the top door pods.

Stock wheel is fine but get some new floor mats from David's group buy.

Deep dish.. suede material, NICE

I had a MOMO one with a flat bottom though so it didnt bump my legs all the time, it was awesome.

haha yeah if i wanted to impress the mag i would chrome dip my whole dash and have an occasional purple or green or some random colour leather with 500 tv's lol
i think i may go with the 383 its a really nice shape and my mate has a momo one similar and i like the feel of it i think between a boss kit and the deep dish wheel may be trying to hit my chest lol
yeah i have new floor mats i only use them for shows etc and use the originals on a daily :-)
just from racing karts ive always loved the suede feel over a leather or pleather lol nice and grippy

question relating to the boss kits, sorry to jack your thread Aaron but you may be able to help me/

Is there a boss kit for airbag equipped soarers? As ive been told the boss kits that you find on ebay etc will only fit the non airbag soarers.

the boss kits usually dont fit airbags as 99.9% of aftermarket wheels are not equipped with an airbag. what wheel are you trying to fit?
only ones that direct bolt on to soarers with an airbag is the trd ones but they are like 1000+
yeah i was looking at a momo aswell but i have really taken a liking to that sparco one i might see how the funds are going next week..

A bit off topic but...
does anyone know what kind of rubber to make the hoop of a steering wheel out of? I've welded up the rest of a wheel I'm making but can't work out how to cover the hoop ring in rubber.
