mmmmm very nice !

I like your painted woodgrain also, i did the exact same thing with mine.

Did you paint those yourself (if so, what did you use etc etc) or pay someone to do it.

Painted the woodgrain myself.
Just scuffed it lightly with sandpaper then did white undercoat and then finished in gloss black.

Did you cover over the Front speakers in the doors? Or is there mesh there?

Covered over the front speakers , but had tiny holes put in the fabric to allow for speaker.

Dhanushke i had no probs putting door trims back on , i didn't do the trim myself but my trimmer stripped all doors back and then fibreglassed them before trimming.
Ty woodgrain i have noticed chips really easily , i used primer then gloss black , then a clear coat. I am thinking of having them covered in something else or the doors modified to not have them.

I wouldn't say Nno to a carbon panel Dash if the rest of it was in the same style.

Gday Matt yeah mate they are my doors, I loved the carbon look over the woodgrain so i went for it. Paid off in my opinion cos i love it.

Mike - The kit comes with a heap of different pieces to do all your dash, even the part under the instrument cluster, the window switches, centre console etc. I personally think it is awesome. here are some pics I also recovered my arm rests in black carbon fibre look vinyl, check the before and after look, huge diff. Will be doing the centre console lid too and hand brake boot. Just gotta figure out how to do the shift and handbrake lever handle thingy without paying too much.

Some good ideas for me here. thanks. heaps. My driver door card is basically held on by two remaining clips and a ribbon. Then the handle is ripped off too... I close the door by the window. so embarrassing. $700 is less then what I was expecting. No doubt trimmers up here will charge more. Am keen to get mine all black.

Looks great.

Daniel I got the trim stuff off Ebay....just type in Soarer Dash Kit and there are a few options they start from $120 to $200, i got the $200 one cos it gave me absolutely everything. 21 piece kit or something it is called. Let me know if you cant find it and i will send you the info i have

Ali - Thanks man I did it myself so was pretty happy with the final result, I am also going to recover my centre arm rest and hand brake boot.

Aaron I love that carbon fibre vinyl, i want my seats done in that too but it will be so expensive to get done.

Cheers guys

I think I found the link.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Toyota-Soarer-91-92-93-94-95-00-WOOD-DASH-KIT-20-PIECES_W0QQitemZ380168475482 QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item5883ce935a

Do you have any close up pics of corners and edges Nathan to see how the finish is?

Cheers
Matt.
