It seems my rear seat belt buckles hang out way too far, I had the seat off and the belts are ADR compliant though it looks like the straps are a little too long, anyone seen this before? or possibly I'll just have to live with it? here's a pic.

Can you not just push the buckles down into the seat? They should have flexible straps and the plastic housing should stop the buckles from going all the way down into the seat.

When the belts were changed for compliance, the new buckles didn't fit into the locating stalks mounted under the seat, so they were probably removed and tossed.
Apart from replacing the belts, you will have to improvise - and if you do a good job can you please share it?
