My Soarer's passenger's side door handle is getting flimsy, whenever someone gets in and have to close the heavy door, i can see that the door handle is coming off on one side.

Anybody have any idea how much would it cost to get it replaced or perhaps any other method that wouldn't be too costly to fix it?

Cheers

It may just actually be the door trim bolts and screws. I'd take the trim off, and re screw the trim back on. I know with mine, there were 3-4 bolts that were missing and replacing these made the trim more sturdy. Refer to this guide to remove the trim and to check if all bolts are fastened:

If all the bolts are fastened tightly, I would have a look around the "for sale" section for a 2nd hand door trim. Not sure how much they would go for. Maybe $100-$200?

if you have the trim off, might as well fibreglass any cracks.

i checked, the handle, there are 2 sections under that are screwed. It seems that both screws are intact but one of the plastic holding the screw broke off. Is there anyway to rectify this problem?

Seems like getting a 2nd hand door trim would take quite abit of work.
