Got my drivers seat belt refurbished by Klippan a few weeks ago and due to the fact my car has been sitting in a workshop it was not fitted. I had it stored in a crate which over the weekend filled with water What do you think? Bin the belt and get another or dry it and use it? I am not 100% on whats inside them?? My thought is to bin it which will really make me happy given it was just under 300bucks.

Dry it out and see if it all works. Then use it.
You have the belt, which should be fine ( I have used seat belts as a harness when caving and abseiling through waterfalls for ages with no signs of distress.
Inside the inertia reel will be some plastics, some steel (likely chromed or nickel plated) a spring and the inertia mechanism which usually consists of a heavy ball and lock system.
I can't think of anything that will be ruined by immersion for a day or so.
I haven't pulled a Soarer one apart, but the above is a bit of a generic description.

If Klippan can't help it might be worth getting Seatbelt Solutions in Perth to pull it apart and check the internals. I'm about to send my driver's side belt to Perth for rewebbing, during which process they check the internal mechanisms. You wouldn't be charged for a rewebbing, and it would be far better than throwing a new belt away. I've been quoted $140 for the job.
